The Daybreakers were formed in during lockdown by Irish /Jamaican producer and songwriter Aidan Connell; who’s skills have been sought by artists such as Gary Clark Jr, Mazzy Star and Seasick Steve among many others.
The band’s latest offering, ‘Turn Up The Silence,’ takes a knowing side swipe at blind conformity and unjust accepted norms. The narrative, vocals, infectious guitar riff, and thundering chorus question, ‘Why should we dumb down and go with the narrative imposed upon us?’
The Daybreakers are the type of band you stick on the stereo when you need some good old fashioned Rock ‘n Roll. Turn up the volume and let the fuzzed up riffs, bluesy vocals and fun time rock drift the stress of the day away. Damn as near to perfection that it makes no difference.
