Track: Dutch Neo-Soul Riser ROSEYE Shine On New Single ‘Sacred’

Dutch neo-soul quintet ROSEYE share the vibrant, multifaceted new single ‘Sacred’. Weaving a sound the brings together elements of jazz, soul, pop and subtle electronic undertones, the single offers a tantalising glimpse of the band’s forthcoming debut album ‘Every Move’ due April 12th via Super-Sonic Jazz.

Opening with a wash of strings before gently lulling into a finger picked acoustic guitar and introducing the silky, soothing lead vocals of Tallulah Rose, the track introduces an ethereal, floating melancholy comparable to Corinne Bailey Rae and recent Lucy Rose releases.

As the track grows into its infectious, hopeful pre-chorus, keys and bass are introduced before the track bursts into life with its euphoric chorus. Characterised by its gently swinging drums and intertwining bass and guitar riffs, the track balances its atmospheric tendencies with vibrant and danceable jazz and soul instrumentation.

Speaking about the upcoming album, the band explain: “We’re all about diving into that deep connection music brings – mixing up explosive, groovy vibes with some trippy and peaceful sounds. Our upcoming album ‘Every Move’ touches on some personal themes like sexuality, spirituality, nature, and grief, we wanted it to be liked a journey through the highs and lows of life”
