Norwich-based psych outfit Floral Image are set to release their long-awaited debut album, Gone Down Meadowland, on 25th April 2025 via the ever-reliable Fuzz Club. To mark the announcement, the band have unveiled a new single, ‘Burning 305’, a fitting preview of the album’s rich, psychedelic textures and infectious energy.
Built around driving rhythms, fuzzy guitars, and this warm, bubbling bassline, ‘Burning 305’ balances a sharp-edged intensity with dreamy, melodic warmth. A soaring chorus lifts the track towards a stirring, layered finale, showcasing the bands ability to merge hypnotic psych-rock with an undeniable pop sensibility. According to vocalist/guitarist Fergus Nolan, the song was designed as a high-powered, more refined counterpart to their track ‘Gallipoli’, with its accompanying video mirroring the songs surreal energy.
