Track: Katatonia – Lacquer

With the release of their live album of fan favourites ‘Dead Air‘, Katatonia have released their live lockdown session performance of track – ‘Lacquer’ taken from their album City Burials

”Dead Air is a document and a remembrance of a strange and surreal situation, as well as true evidence of the love for music – both ours and that shown by our fans.” Vocalist Jonas Renkse explains what Dead Air means to the band.

Delicate picked guitar and waves of synths start this track off with Jonas Renkse sounding in great form. The full band join in at the half way point where the song takes off to the full on epic those first notes promised.
