Track: Lost Cousins – Plain Sight

Dream rock outfit Lost Cousins have announced the release of their highly anticipated sophomore album, ‘Point No Point’, which is due the 21st of July 21 via Pheromone Recordings / Cadence Music Group. The band have shared the video, which the band shot on an old camcorder during the recording process, of the albums lead single ‘Plain Sight’

‘Plain Sight’ represents a significant step for the band, as lead singer Cam Duffin explains:

“It’s a journey out of the shadows of self-doubt and into the realm of confidence. The song captures the essence of hindsight and the lessons learned from relationships that have undergone profound changes. Its lyrics encapsulate moments of nostalgia, from screaming out your favourite songs with a friend on a road trip to experiencing those emotional memories alone years later on a similar journey. It’s about moving in the same direction while growing apart and discovering one’s full potential.”

An upbeat sax led intro fades into this wonderful dreamy vocal drenched track. Marcus Sisk takes the limelight with some fantastic drumming underneath the shimmering combination of synths and guitar. With the track’s theme popping up throughout blasting out of an excitable sax this is one summer filled delight guaranteed to bring joy and sunshine.
