Mdou Moctar have released their much-anticipated new album, ‘Funeral for Justice’. Along with the album release the band have shared the record’s penultimate track, ‘Oh France’, a fiery indictment of French colonialism that stands among the group’s heaviest songs to date.

A full five minutes of fretboard-melting guitar virtuoso with a thunderous backing and Moctar’s melodic vocal phrasing. Changing things up halfway through to an acid-tripping hypnotic dirge, the band doesn’t sit still for a second, leaving us with a whirlwind of captivating chaos and technically brilliant music.
