Sultry vibes, some gorgeous smooth vocals and production to die for, the new single from Melkior ‘In The Morning’ featuring a guest appearance from Mike Champion is R&B-Pop at it’s best.
Built around a warming, shuffling beat, bouncing bass and swelling synths, the track quickly creates a tight yet chilled, floating and emotive backdrop. Melkior’s enigmatic lead vocal guides above the instrumentation with a soothing ease, giving the track a focus with some excellent ear worm melodies. Joined by Mike Champion in the latter stages of the track, ‘In The Morning’ takes on a new lease of life.
Speaking about the mining behind the single, Melkior shares: “Follow your heart, take a chance on love, and put yourself out there, tell that person how much they mean to you, how you see them and what you’re feeling. Put your cards on the table. It might not work and that’s ok but you’ll be better for it. You never know, you might be surprised and it might be the best thing you have ever done.”
