North East alternate rockers Motherland have returned with new single Ocean Drive.
A crisp clear return with big crunchy chords and bright confident vocals. Getting straight into the groove when the whole band join in which lifts the track up into a euphoric banger. You can clearly hear the bands own sound identity being carefully crafted throughout the string of singles the band have released. A sound which hangs on the fantastic interplay between the two guitarists Ross Adam Blackmore and David Hodgkiss who finish things off with a tasty guitar solo too.
