BOUNCY London guitar popsters Sea Girls have unveiled the video for their latest single, “Do You Really Wanna Know?”

For the clip, Italian animator Francesca de Bassa has taken photos that members have taken during the virus lockdown and brought them to life as kaleidoscopic, animated collages. An initially empty canvas erupts into an absurd world, swarming with anthropomorphic characters.

The single trails the quartet’s debut album for Polydor, “Open Up Your Head”, which is due for release on August 14th and which promises “an explosion of joyous indie rock”.

Sea Girls have been keeping busy during lockdown with ‘Living Room’ performances and Netflix parties with their fans.

The band’s postponed, four-date English cities tour, due to have taken place in April, has been rescheduled for November: tickets for the four dates and album pre-orders can be secured at www.seagirls.net
