NEWS: Classic Creedence set gets half-century deluxe treatment

DELUXE vinyl reissue imprint Craft Recordings are marking the half-century of southern swamp rockers Creedence Clearwater Revival’s classic Cosmo’s Factory with a heavyweight vinyl remaster.

The album, set for general re-release on August 14th, features such boogie classics as “Long As I Can See The Light”, an 11-minute jam on “I Heard It Through The Grapevine”, the psychedelic “Ramble Tamble” and the Bakersfield country twang of “Lookin’ Out The Back Door”.

Cosmo’s Factory was the band’s fifth album in just two years, and topped the charts in the UK, the US, Australia and Canada.

Craft Recordings’ new issue will be pressed on 180-gramme vinyl and has been mastered at half-speed at the legendary Abbey Road – a technique which is both richer and fuller in the low and mid-frequencies, and smoother at the top end.
The reissue of Cosmo’s Factory can be pre-ordered now at https://craftrecordings.com/collections/   ‘Deluxe bundle’ versions are also available.
