TRACK: WEIRD MILK – IS THAT LOVE

The North London band have been getting plenty of love recently. For good reason with their sixties sound and Beach Boy harmonies. This band sound tight and clearly know there instruments well.

“Is That Love” comes from their forth coming EP due later this year. It’s a song about a relationship going sour. “The song itself is about a relationship turning sour as a lemon and the main character realising that they don’t need it anymore and they’ll be better off on their own”. Explains drummer Charlie.

From the opening bass to the sweeping guitars and chorus effected vocals, its not surprising they have drawn comparisons to the likes of the Beatles and the more recent Shadow Puppets. But these guys sound fresh which is much needed in the indie scene. “Is That Love” sits well with the lads catalogue so far and will only add them to peoples must see list through out this year.
