Emerging rock artist Ava Renn is forging her own uncompromising path with the release of her latest single, ‘You Want Love’, a cinematic and emotionally charged offering that confronts the destructive force of narcissistic relationships and the difficult journey towards self-reclamation.

Taken from her forthcoming second studio album of the same name, You Want Love, the single captures Ava’s signature fusion of dark pop atmosphere, gritty rock intensity, and emotionally resonant songwriting. Through powerful instrumentation and fearless lyricism, she delivers a raw exploration of emotional manipulation, grief, and the process of rediscovering yourself after a damaging relationship.

Musically, ‘You Want Love’ delivers a sound that recalls the dramatic weight of Evanescence while carving out its own identity through grinding alt-metal influenced guitars, soaring pop-infused melodies, and tribalistic percussion. These elements collide to create a dark, cinematic soundscape that exists somewhere between industrial rock and alternative pop rock, balancing crushing intensity with moments of atmospheric vulnerability.

Following an intimate middle eight that strips the arrangement back to piano and vocals, the track erupts into an expansive and explosive final chorus. Ava’s soaring vocals rise above a wall of guitars and thunderous drums as the song accelerates towards its powerful conclusion, leaving a lasting impression of emotional release and defiance.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the track, Ava explains:

“You Want Love delves into the sinister entendre that is the desire of a narcissist. It encapsulates the stage of grief that follows the realisation in the lows of a cold relationship.”

The upcoming album, You Want Love, reflects this journey through life’s darkest moments, embracing hardship as a necessary path towards healing and light. The record promises to explore themes of pain, desire, recovery, and inner strength, offering listeners an intimate insight into Ava’s experiences and the emotions that continue to drive her creativity.

With its driving rhythms, industrial edge, and emotionally fearless songwriting, ‘You Want Love’ showcases Ava Renn’s ability to transform personal experiences into powerful rock anthems with universal resonance.
