Exclusive: The Last Morrell records Picking In Stitches live in session

We’ve already had Yorkshire raised singer-songwriter The Last Morrell in session once before, and it created such a spark that we couldn’t wait to get him back in. Or maybe, he sent us another track recorded at the same time, and we love him so much here at Backseat Mafia we couldn’t do anything but get it online.

Taken from his debut EP ‘Sarcasm’, this time he’s performing the beautifully emotive Picking in Stitches, with its torch song soaring vocals and heartbreak sitting proud all over it. If that one has you reaching for the tissues, check out the stomping funk of his previous session for us, playing The Party
