Gallery: Kaleo / Dea Matrona – Iveagh Gardens, Dublin 09.07.2023

The third night of The Iveagh Garden series of summer shows in Dublin (The First two being Damien Dempsey one of which has already been covered and publish on here, stay tuned for more as all seven acts playing the series over the nine nights are being covered to be published here) This time it was the turn of Icelandic blues rock band Kaleo to take to the stage for a sold out show and taking up the support slot were Dea Matrona from Belfast, their name means ‘divine mother goddess’ in Celtic mythology and I have for a long time now been trying to catch these live, but every time there was a chance something got in the way and they didn’t disappoint.
Both bands left the crowd wanting more but like all things they have an end, but at the end of this everyone went away very happy and singing.
