Buzz-worthy and London-based three-piece Bar Italia—Jezmi Fehmi (vocals/guitarist), Nina Cristante (vocals), and Sam Fenton(vocals/guitarist)—make their debut in Sydney tonight. Touring in support of their latest album ‘The Twits,’ which was recorded in a makeshift home studio in Mallorca over eight intense weeks in early 2023. The band has been particularly prolific, releasing their debut album ‘Tracey Denim’ in May 2023. Both albums capture the raw, eclectic spirit that Bar Italia is known for, promising an unforgettable performance.

The Oxford Art Factory is a packed, sweaty, throbbing haven, thick with anticipation and there’s a palpable buzz of expectation. When Bar Italia take the stage, they exude an undeniable cool and a mysterious allure. Their look and demeanour evoke the spirit of New York in the 2000s, reminiscent of the era when bands like The Strokes and others burst onto the scene. Bar Italia absolutely lived up to expectations tonight, delivering a performance brimming with raw energy and unfiltered emotion. Their sound hit like a punch to the gut, with each chord resonating through the buzzing crowd like a shared heartbeat.

Check out the gallery below.

Bar Italia will appear in Brisbane on 6th June and in Melbourne at RISING on 8 June. Don’t miss them.
