Backseat Mafia was grateful to be inside 170 Russell to capture Catch Your Breath on the Melbourne stop of their debut Australian tour. The Texas melodic rock outfit brought the kind of tightly wound intensity that has pushed them past 360 million global streams, with tracks from Shame On Me landing heavily inside a packed room. Unsurprisingly, Gold-certified breakout single ‘Dial Tone’ drew one of the loudest reactions of the night, the crowd throwing every word back at the stage as the band tore through a set that proved why they’ve become one of modern rock’s fastest-rising names.
