Live Gallery: Modest Mouse play Daydream Festival in Sydney 29.04.2023

Modest Mouse

Modest Mouse led by the irresistible Isaac Brock, headlined the Daydream Festival at the Hordern Pavilion Sydney last night. This is the seminal indie rock band’s first visit to Australia since 2016. Sadly, founding member Jeremiah Green passed away in December 2022. Modest Mouse’s second album, ‘The Lonesome Crowded West’ turned 25 last year but the group is still making new music and they released ‘The Golden Casket’ two years ago. The band enjoyed a rowdy reception from a large and enthusiastic crowd, who were delighted to welcome the band back to Sydney. Interestingly, there were a lot of young fans at the Hordern last night, illustrating the band’s enduring influence.

Daydream Festival moves to Brisbane next. Tickets HERE.
