There is always an electric excitement in the air whenever Steel Panther come to town , you know you are going to have a kick ass time and true to form tonight they deliver!!

Joining them on this leg of their ‘On The Prowl’ tour are long standing rock legends Winger.

They put on a tight performance with a blinding set of classic tracks. These guys know how to make a stage their own and they have a great chemistry still after all these years. It’s an effortless and exciting performance proving that rock and roll really is forever. They have the audience singing along and fully warmed up it’s been several years since they last played in the UK and it’s clear that they have been missed. We also get an early glimpse of Michael Starr for their track ‘Headed for Heartbreak’ which has the room erupting in cheers and more than ready for their headliners!

Ripping into ‘Eyes of a Panther’ with their usual excitable energy the show is off! Michael Star is a true force with a wicked set of pipes and charisma in spades. Guitarist Satchel is his usual cheeky self, pulling shapes and humping – well anything he can get close enough to. The band have a new member in the form of bassist Spyder who replaces former bassist Lexxi Foxx, big shoes to fill indeed. He had great energy and really looked at home with the guys however there was definitely some of that Steel Panther spark missing. That, I am sure that will develop over time – after all Lexxi was with the band for 21 years – that’s a bond you can’t just recreate overnight. The set was a joyous mix of old and new tracks from across their entire catalogue from ‘Death To All But Metal’ to ‘1987’ and it’s all received with high energy and joy they just bring such a wonderful energy and it spreads like wildfire across the fully packed out venue.

They incorporate all the classic moments we have come to love about their show, a stage full of female fans joining them for ‘Community Property’ A fan serenaded with their own personal song, and even an Asian fan on stage with them for ‘Asian hooker’ giving the audience an eyeful indeed!! It’s smutty, it’s sexy, it’s pure unadulterated rock and roll – It’s Steel Panther and they are rocking hard and loud. Rightfully so tonight’s show was sold out and absolutely everyone had the best time! If you haven’t been to a Steel Panther show you’re not doing life right!!!! Get yourself to one STAT!!
