Track: Careless Sons – Betty

Last year we enthused about North London ‘Pop and Roll’ outfit, Careless Sons. They are back better than ever with their new single ‘Betty’: a more mature, smooth sound yet still emotive and hook-laden:

The production is clear and precise, driving the chiming guitars and excellent layered harmonies. I am reminded a little of the passion and dynamism of The Killers.

‘Betty’ is the first song from Careless Sons’ upcoming EP, which will be released towards the end of 2015.

The release is accompanied by a cool video:

In the meantime, you can catch them live at Castle Hotel in Manchester on 2 October or Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen on 10 October. Cheaper advance tickets for both gigs are available from bit.ly/CarelessTickets.
