After years of cultivating one of electronic music’s most respected global communities, Anjunadeep is heading back to Australia with two immersive festival experiences this summer. The influential London-based label has announced a return to Sydney and Melbourne, bringing its celebrated blend of melodic house, deep techno and atmospheric electronica to two vastly different, yet equally distinctive, venues.

Presented by Finely Tuned as part of the promoter’s 20th anniversary celebrations, the series begins at Sydney’s Tumbalong Park on Saturday 28 November, where the city will host the largest Australian edition of Anjunadeep Open Air to date. From there, the label heads south to Melbourne’s PICA on Saturday 5 December, transforming the industrial space into its first-ever Australian warehouse event inspired by the acclaimed Anjunadeep showcases that have become staples of Amsterdam Dance Event, London and New York.

While the full lineup remains under wraps for now, organisers promise a selection of the label’s most revered artists when the bill is revealed in the coming weeks.

Founded in 2005 by Above & Beyond alongside longtime manager James Grant, Anjunadeep has grown from an offshoot label into one of the defining institutions in contemporary electronic music. Across more than 600 releases, it has become synonymous with emotionally rich, meticulously crafted productions that effortlessly blur the boundaries between deep house, progressive, ambient and techno.

Its influence can be traced through the careers of artists including Lane 8, Ben Böhmer, Yotto, Tinlicker, Eli & Fur, Dusky, Moon Boots and Qrion, while remixes from CamelPhat, DJ Koze, Tale Of Us, Maya Jane Coles, TSHA, Boris Brejcha and NERO have helped shape the label’s unmistakable sonic identity.

Beyond its catalogue, Anjunadeep has earned an enviable reputation for creating immersive live experiences. From sold-out nights at London’s Printworks and New York’s Brooklyn Mirage to its destination festival on the Albanian Riviera, the label’s events have become renowned for balancing world-class electronic music with carefully curated environments that encourage genuine connection on the dancefloor.

The Australian return continues that philosophy. Sydney’s waterfront setting promises a full day of music stretching from golden hour into the evening, while Melbourne’s warehouse edition offers a darker, more intimate counterpart, embracing the underground spirit that has long defined Anjunadeep’s global events.

With the lineup still to come, anticipation is already building for the Australia events.
