News: Astral Gray Shares New Single ‘Mirror On The Wall’, Announces Upcoming Debut Album

Brighton prog-psych-rock singer-songwriter, Astral Gray unveils the mesmerising new single ‘Mirror On The Wall’, a tantalising glimpse into his forthcoming debut album ‘The Past Is In The Way’.

Astral Gray has long been synonymous with his signature blend of 70s-infused soundscapes and introspective lyricism, honing his craft through countless performances in the vibrant musical landscape of Brighton, sharing stages with luminaries such as Sugar Candy Mountain, Derya Yildirim, and The New Eves.

With ‘Mirror On The Wall’, Astral Gray invites listeners into a world of ethereal nostalgia, weaving together a tapestry of lush instrumentation that echoes with haunting familiarity. Swelling organs, psychedelic guitar tones, and deliberate, almost disjointed drums set the stage for Astral Gray’s haunting vocal delivery. Brining together elements of prog, psychedelic-rock and indie-folk, the result is a strikingly unique musical approach.

As the track reaches its climactic crescendo, layers of fuzzy guitar tones and ethereal vocal harmonies envelop the listener, offering depth, complexity and a euphoric climax to the track.

Talking about the single “Mirror On The Wall (Single) is a reflection of all the things I loathe about myself and the landscape of the modern political world, like the stubbornness of humanity and our impending doom.”

With early support from BBC Introducing and a string of packed-out performances under his belt, Astral Gray has already established himself as one to watch on the Brighton music scene. With ‘Mirror On The Wall’ serving as a tantalising glimpse at his upcoming debut album.
