News: Bloodstock open air announces more giants for the 2024 edition of the festival.

The final Main Stage Headline slot goes to the Swedish Progressive legends Opeth and with them they will be bringing a very special ‘fan chosen’ set in order to close out the Friday on the Ronnie James Dio stage.

The legendary Hatebreed will also join the Friday Main Stage with their 30th Anniversary set and after the disappointment of them having to cancel their entire UK/European tour in 2022 their 2024 set will undoubtedly be electric and one surely not to be missed.

The Sunday Main Stage will be graced with even more extreme metal courtesy of the true legends Enslaved who will bring their 32 year and 16 album history with them to pulverise us with a set of true decadence and brutality.

Brazil will be well and truly represented by way of punishing Thrash outfit Nervosa and battering Death unit Crypta, both will surely carve open the Main Stage on the Friday and Saturday respectively.

More Thrash will be welcomed onto the Ronnie James Dio Stage on the Saturday by way of Forbidden who will be bringing their Bay Area Thrash to the Bloodstock hordes and a true catalyst to spark those necks into action.

Last but not least, for all the power metal fans out there, Beast In Black will also be gracing the Main Stage at Catton Hall and will inject an elegant and powerful slice of Power onto the Bloodstock landscape.

These all join the previously announced Main Stage Headliners Architects and Amon Amarth, who are both UK exclusives, as well as Main Stage Special Guests Clutch and Malevolence (only UK festival) and other Main Stage warriors Flogging Molly, Rotting Christ (only UK festival), The Night Flight Orchestra, Unleash The Archers, Septic Flesh (only UK festival) and Green Lung. The Sophie Stage is already looking a well and truly tantalising proposition with the previous announcement of Infected Rain, Korpiklaani, Igorr (UK exclusive) and Hellripper.

Early Bird Tickets are now SOLD OUT so do not hesitate in grabbing yourself a ticket to what surely is going to be the heaviest weekend of 2024.
