NEWS: Dark Tea announce new album, out April 30th on Fire Talk

FOR THOSE who don’t know the project, Dark Tea is Gary Canino’s solo project, taking advantage of a large group of collaborators in the New York scene. Spanning across mostly 80s-inspired songwriting styles, the project is quite characteristic but also classic-sounding, in its own way.

Gary is now announcing a new record, out April 30th on Fire Talk – self-titled (or no-titled, you decide) again. Two singles are out, “High Mile”, with clear The Go-Betweens vibes, and outlaw country “Down for the Law”, which showcases Gary’s passion for Lou Reed. Two very promising singles from of the record, which sounds like this will be a breakthrough release for Gary Canino.

Dark Tea’s Dark Tea will be released on April 30th digitally and on CD and vinyl; you can pre-order your copy now over at Bandcamp.
