After a triumphant 2017 season at Eden, Defected are gearing up to do it all over again, bigger and better, with CamelPhat, MK, Derrick Carter, Dennis Ferrer, Franky Rizardo, Monki, Claptone, Riva Starr, Melé, Danny Howard, Purple Disco Machine and many more this summer. Kicking off a huge 21-date season under the slogan ‘IN OUR HOUSE WE ARE ALL EQUAL’, the opening party will be on Sunday 20th May, with Sam Divine, Amine Edge & DANCE, DJ Haus, Low Steppa, Simon Dunmore and Jacky, running through the summer to 7th October. The programme for the twelve weeks making up Part 1 of the season has also now been revealed – see defected.com/events for dates and line-up breakdowns.
Sunday nights with Defected will see headline sets from well-loved house superstars like Roger Sanchez, Sandy Rivera and Todd Terry alongside residents Franky Rizardo, Sam Divine, Josh Butler, Simon Dunmore and Dario D’Attis, as well as underground house heroes Karizma, DJ Haus, Shadow Child, Angelo Ferreri, Ninetoes, Scott Diaz and Manu Gonzalez. CamelPhat will return after an unprecedented 2017 that saw them nominated for a Grammy award, scoop countless Beatport No.1’s, Platinum sales and sell-out shows around the world. New faces Human Movement join Defected favourites Mat.Joe, Luke Solomon and Low Steppa who return to set Eden off once again after memorable performances last year. Clubbers can also expect surprise B2B appearances, the unforgettable energy of Defected on the dancefloor and roadblocks of likeminded house music lovers queuing for their best night in San Antonio.
“House music is our calling. Ibiza is our mecca. No boundaries, no prejudice. Our dance floor is a unifier. In Our House We Are All Equal.” Simon Dunmore
Bringing people together through house music, Defected once again fulfils its ethos of providing enjoyable, affordable and inclusive clubbing for dance music lovers across the globe. For a season of great moments, uniting the house community through incredible music, Early Bird tickets start at just €20 and are available now from defected.com/events.
ABOUT EDEN
With its rich heritage, Eden is a major protagonist on the scene in San Antonio. Situated in the heart of the clubbing capital of the universe, Eden was born in 1999 and after a radical transformation it’s turning heads across the island. With an incredible top-spec VOID sound system and state-of-the-art production, the world’s dance music influencers are taking notice, and deservedly so. The gateway for many visitors’ first Ibiza experience, San Antonio has a fresh, up-for-it crowd who represent the future of dance music culture. Defected’s residency signals the next chapter for San Antonio and a reason for focus to return to Ibiza’s most long-loved destination.
