Ocean Grove have announced a headline tour of Australia in support of their new single, ‘My Disaster’ joining them will be special guests Paledusk (JPN) and Inertia.

Kicking off in Brisbane on Friday 4 October at The Triffid, the tour will then head to Sydney’s Manning Bar on Saturday 5 October before wrapping up on Sunday 6 October at the Prince Bandroom in Melbourne.

Building on the momentum of their 2024 single ‘Fly Away,’ Ocean Grove’s latest release, ‘My Disaster,’ oscillates between the intense energy of nu-metal and the melancholic undertones of down-tuned melodies.

Since the release of their debut album ‘The Rhapsody Tapes’ in 2017, which debuted at #5 on the ARIA Charts, Ocean Grove has consistently pushed the boundaries of heavy music. Their subsequent albums, ‘Flip Phone Fantasy’ (2020) and ‘Up In The Air Forever ‘(2022), both secured top 10 positions on the ARIA Charts, further cementing their reputation for innovative musicianship and fearless experimentation.

Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of influences, including Korn, N.E.R.D., and Faith No More, Ocean Grove has established themselves as a band unafraid to break the mold. Their unique sound has led to tours with prominent acts such as Limp Bizkit, August Burns Red, Crossfaith, and Don Broco, as well as performances at major festivals including Download Festival Australia, Good Things Festival, and UNIFY.

“Our last major headline shows in these cities were back in 2022, so you can imagine there’s plenty new to share with our fans. We’re bringing our very first international support out for this tour, our brothers in Paledusk (JPN), as well as Sydney mates in Inertia. We’ve also never played Licensed All Ages headline shows of our own in Brisbane or Melbourne, so it feels like a massive opportunity for our U18 fan base to catch their very first OG show. All in all, we’re super pumped to exhibit all this new music we have coming out and to bring a bit of the back catalogue into the mix, too.”
