Eight years after his last Australian visit, FKJ is finally heading back, with the acclaimed French multi-instrumentalist announcing a national tour for February 2027 in support of his forthcoming third album, Tyber.
The run will see the artist, born Vincent Fenton, bring his immersive one-man live show to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, offering Australian audiences another opportunity to witness the genre-defying performances that have made him one of contemporary music’s most captivating live acts.
Blurring the boundaries between jazz, soul, funk, R&B and electronic music, FKJ has built a devoted global following through a style that feels entirely his own. Armed with looping technology, live instrumentation and effortless musicianship, his performances unfold in real time, layering keyboards, bass, saxophone, percussion and vocals into richly textured compositions that are never performed quite the same way twice.
Since releasing his self-titled debut album in 2017, FKJ has become one of the defining figures of modern instrumental and electronic music. His fluid approach to songwriting, rooted equally in improvisation and meticulous production, has seen him attract hundreds of millions of streams while earning a reputation as one of the most innovative live performers of his generation.
His rise has been mirrored on festival stages around the world. FKJ has delivered acclaimed performances at Coachella, Lollapalooza, CRSSD, Euphoria and Lightning in a Bottle, where his intricate solo performances have consistently drawn audiences well beyond the confines of electronic music.
