Following in the wake of ‘Doom Sessions Vol. 1‘ featuring Conan and Deadsmoke and ‘Doom Sessions Vol. 2‘ featuring Acid Mammoth and 1782. Label Heavy Psych have announced Vol. 3 in the series with five angry, aggressive and previously unreleased tracks by Relapse Records stalwarts -(16)- and Italy’s sludge mongers Grime. The artwork was designed by Branca Studio.

-(16)- comment:

“We are super excited to announce this split release with one of our favourite bands and tour mates, Italy’s Grime. These three new songs represent our continued musical growth with the addition of menacing melodic vocals, Hammond, and our self-imposed tradition of dark riffs and rhythms.”

Grime add:

“Everyone in Grime has been a fan of -(16)- since we were teenagers. After touring Europe together twice and sharing the stage in Los Angeles, we are super stoked to announce that our friendship and mutual respect will culminate in a joint release in 2021. We’re also thrilled that it will be put out by Heavy Psych Sounds, an awesome label that we respect a lot, home to many great bands. These two songs mark an evolution in our sound and are even more misanthropic than anything we have ever done before, we can’t wait for you all to hear it!”

Check out the first single -(16)- ‘Death On Repeat’, below:
