Sid Dorey, a compelling and candid Indie Pop artist, is gearing up to release their eagerly awaited debut EP, Drama in Doses. Signed under Arthouse Entertainment Publishing, Dorey’s rise in the music world is defined by their undeniable talent, charismatic personality, and starkly honest storytelling.

Hailing from Florida and now based in Nashville, Dorey’s music is a vibrant celebration of queer identity and a reflection of personal experiences. With a strong foundation in musical theater, their work is marked by expressive lyrics and emotional depth.

Drama in Doses features a series of songs that explore themes such as heartbreak, self-destructive behavior, family issues, and religious trauma. As Sid faced numerous life changes—such as their father’s coming out, personal heartache, and undergoing top surgery—songwriting became a vital means of processing these events.

Explaining the EP’s title, Sid says, “This EP is called Drama in Doses because each song represents a different dose of drama. It tackles heartbreak, self-destructive behavior, family trauma, and religious trauma. Creating this EP helped me process all the changes in my life, and I hope it can help others process the drama in their lives too.”

Owing to the EP’s excellence, Sid Dorey has gained further support from Spotify, Apple, and TidalWith Drama in Doses, Sid Dorey is poised for a bright future in the music industry, using their platform to challenge cultural narratives and advocate for authenticity. Through this musical journey, listeners are encouraged to confront their own struggles and find comfort in the shared experiences highlighted in Drama in Doses.
