Memphis outfit Sleep Theory will make their Australian debut next February, with the fast-rising four-piece announcing their first-ever headline tour alongside Los Angeles duo RIVALS.
The five-date run begins at Perth’s Magnet House on 7 February before heading to Adelaide’s The Gov, Melbourne’s 170 Russell, Sydney’s Metro Theatre and concluding at Brisbane’s Princess Theatre on 14 February.
Sleep Theory have quickly established themselves as one of the more intriguing new names in modern heavy music. Led by vocalist Cullen Moore, the band combine metal and hard rock with elements of R&B and pop, creating songs that move comfortably between soaring choruses, melodic hooks and heavier breakdowns. Their approach has helped distinguish them in a crowded scene without abandoning the intensity that underpins their sound.
Their rise has been swift. Breakout single Fallout became one of active rock radio’s biggest songs of 2024, while their debut album Afterglow and Hearts EP have introduced a band equally comfortable writing emotionally driven ballads as they are crafting riff-heavy anthems. That momentum has seen them share stages with Shinedown, Falling In Reverse, Beartooth, Nothing More, Wage War, Set It Off and Daughtry, while earning recognition from Amazon Music, Loudwire and Revolver as an artist to watch.
Joining them on every date are RIVALS, whose blend of dark pop, alternative rock and post-hardcore has built a dedicated following over recent years. The Los Angeles duo balance polished melodies with weightier guitar work, providing a complementary pairing for Sleep Theory’s genre-spanning approach.
