Twenty years ago, The Killers exploded onto the scene with ‘Hot Fuss’, a debut album that instantly left its mark—ARIA #1, yes, but also one of those rare records that defined an era. Now, two decades on, they’re returning to Australia to remind us exactly why their sound still sticks.

This November and December, The Killers will hit Townsville, Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne. But here’s the real kicker for Sydney and Melbourne fans: they’re doing two nights in each city. The first is a ‘Rebel Diamonds show,’ a setlist packed with hits that trace their journey from fresh-faced Las Vegas upstarts to arena headliners. And the second night will feature ‘Hot Fuss’ in full, front to back, the soundtrack to every indie dance floor of the 2000s, complete with a few surprises for good measure. It’s nostalgia with a pulse, a reminder that they’re still here, still killing it.

The Killers formed in Las Vegas in 2001, and are known for their blend of alternative rock and new wave influences. The band’s lineup consists of Brandon Flowers, the charismatic lead vocalist and keyboardist, Dave Keuning on guitar, Mark Stoermer on bass guitar, and Ronnie Vannucci Jr. on drums. The Killers gained international acclaim with their debut album ‘Hot Fuss’ in 2004, which included chart-topping singles such as ‘Mr. Brightside’ and ‘Somebody Told Me.’ Over the years, their dynamic sound, powerful lyrics, and energetic performances have established them as one of the most successful and enduring bands of the 21st century.
