Fresh off a Coachella blitz and a global run that’s been part seance, part bar brawl, Sweden’s sleaziest satirists are crashing back into Australia this January, – and for the first time ever, storming across the ditch into Aotearoa.
Dubbed the Infinite Anxiety Tour 2026, this run marks their biggest headline venues yet, with sweaty pit stops in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Fremantle and Auckland’s Powerstation. It’s a victory lap for their latest album viagr aboys, a gloriously grotesque slab of post-punk that grinds through modern absurdity like a meat grinder stuck on loop.
Fronted by Sebastian Murphy – equal parts slam poet, drunk uncle and unfiltered prophet – the six-piece are infamous for turning every show into a theatrical meltdown. There’s saxophone. There’s sweat. There’s probably a cowboy hat. And somewhere in the chaos, a critique of late-stage capitalism or internet lunacy is buried beneath a bassline.
