Premiere: ‘I Am The Greatest’ – indeed they are as The Vors exclusively reveal the video for the track off the debut album ‘Boss’

Earlier this year we reviewed the debut album from punk maestros The Vors and we can exclusively bring you the video for the new single off the album ‘I Am The Greatest’.

With an eviscerating crunch of guitars and a percussive drive that would hammer nails into a solid concrete block, this is an anthemic louche classic, delivered in an insouciant sardonic tone with an arched eyebrow and supercilious sneer. Singer Davor Pavlovic came to the conclusion that to be an elite sportsperson, you have to have an undying belief in yourself:

Those that don’t feel that way need a little encouragement and a song to sing along to!

It’s got more swagger than a pirate’s galleon caught in a thunderstorm with its sails unfurled, a swagger caught brilliantly in the accompanying video where the band, led by singer Davor Pavlovic, prowls and struts in the back alleyways, über cool and disdainful, collecting a motley rag tag crew.

It’s cathartic, and most of all, it’s fun:

‘I Am The Greatest’ lives up to its title and is out tomorrow via all the usual sites.

‘Boss’ is out through Cheersquad Records & Tapes and available to download and stream here and through the link below.
