I write this in the early hours of the morning after just returning from one of the midnight showings of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. I am not going to divulge a single piece of spoiling information about the movie, but I need to say it’s good. Oh yes, it’s good.
If you have even a passing interest in anything Star Wars and you are reading this at any point before the start of office hours on Thursday 17th December, it’s not too late to ring in sick and find the nearest available screening. Similarly, if you are reading this later in the day, cancel any plans you have and go and see it.
This movie is founded in the excellent elements that originally brought Star Wars into being, progressed by new energies and has a spirit that is so authentic you can’t help but be swept away by it.
