News: Anti-Flag announce immediate break up of band mid European tour

Pittsburgh’s political punks, Anti-Flag are no more and have apparently deleted their website and Social Media content. News broke on Wednesday via Patreon, informing subscribers that any monies taken would be refunded. The band were in Europe and due to support Dropkick Murphys in Prague.

[From their Wikipedia page] “When asked to offer a statement regarding the breakup, the band’s publicist declined to comment. Stereogum, an indie music news site, and Us Weekly, an entertainment magazine, linked Anti-Flag’s July 2023 breakup to a podcast episode released on July 19, the same day as the band’s dissolution, that levelled accusations of sexual assault against “a singer in a political punk band” believed to be frontman Justin Sane.”

There has been no official statement put out on behalf of the band or Sane, although their Bandcamp page was still operating at the time of writing.
