Evan Dando and the gang return to Manchester on Sat 8th Oct 2022, to play their classic 1992 album, It’s A Shame About Ray in it’s entirety. 30 years on the album, is widely regarded as one of the best 90s albums ever and broke the band in the UK, despite not actually denting the Top 30 LP Chart at the time of release, peaking at No.33.
Breaking with the usual tradition of playing the album through first and then coming back on to run through a greatest hits and others set, early indications are that Evan will take to the stage first to do an Acoustic Set, before returning with the band to rip through “Ray” before adding another dozen or so songs consisting of some covers and a few from Dando’s solo back catalogue.
