Track: Acid Dad drop new single, Get Me High with accompanying ‘otherworldly’ clip.

US psych rockers, Acid Dad (Vaughn Hunt on guitars/vocals, Sean Fahey also on guitars/vocals and Trevor Mustoe on drums) have just released a stunning new song and accompanying clip.

The song, Get Me High is about “trying to grasp a breath after unexpectedly losing everything” – something the band experienced when their studio that they had meticulously built in 2021 was destroyed in catastrophic flooding that accompanied Hurricane Ida.

It also features an appropriately psychedelic, and visually arresting video by Acid Dad visual artist Webb Hunt.

The band are touring across the entire USA throughout October in support of Australia’s own Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, with festival stops including both legendary psychedelic gatherings, Desert Daze and Levitation.

‘Get Me High’ is co-released by Brooklyn’s Greenway Records and psych powerhouse LEVITATION’s label, The Reverberation Appreciation Society and is available for purchase here.
