Atom Eyes the Edinburgh-based jazz-soul collective have released ‘Smoke & Mirrors’ which is the fourth single off their debut album, ‘Blue Into Gold‘.
The band which sports a range of highly talented musicians, combines jazz, funk and neo-soul sensibilities, to create a sound that perfectly encapsulates their diverse yet equally eclectic backgrounds.
‘Smoke & Mirrors’ is an exquisitely languid song, with front woman Lissa Chen Robertson’s soulful vocals swooning over the expertly crafted fusion of jazz and soul that the band, like ancient alchemists transmute to produce some extraordinary, golden vibes.
