South London-based, British-Nigerian neo-soul and R&B riser Azul Kechi returns with the dynamic and empowering ‘Nada Más Solo’, released just ahead of the hotly anticipated upcoming debut album Celestial Love.

Building a reputation for her vibrant artistry that fuses pop, R&B, soul, and jazz elements, Azul has rapidly gained recognition across national radio, press, and digital streaming platforms. With influences spanning from Amy Winehouse and Betty Davis to Lauryn Hill, Kechi’s music is a masterful blend of raw, live, soulful instrumentation and her uniquely smokey, half-sung, half-rapped and infectiously vocal delivery.

The new single ‘Nada Más Solo’ is no exception, bringing some brilliant 70s soul vibes and infectious, impactful melodies. Opening with boxy drums and fuzzy guitar licks, the track soon settles into a flow as twinkling keys and warming bass underpin Azul’s effortlessly alluring lead vocal. Moving through its half sung, half rapped vocal, the track soon reaches its radiantly catchy chorus.

Growing through the track ends on a vibrant final chorus which brings a twinkling lead synth atop the main vocal melody.

Speaking about ‘Nada Más Solo’, Azul shares: “‘Nada Más Solo’ or ‘Nothing more, solo’ is a song about navigating your individuality—letting go and fully owning who you are. It’s about embracing your uniqueness without fear of judgment or the pressure to conform. In creative industries, you have to be bold and take risks, even if it means carving out a path that diverges from your peers. This track is about breaking free from expectations and embracing your true self. I’m learning to trust my gut and stop comparing myself to others, and this song embodies that journey.”

Azul Kechi’s rise has been marked by significant industry support, including airplay from BBC Radio 6 Music (Huey Morgan, Craig Charles), Jazz FM (B-List), and BBC Radio London. With the full album Celestial Love on the horizon, ‘Nada Más Solo’ serves as a striking and exciting preview.
