Eora/Sydney-based punk/rock trio DEDPAN has unleashed high-octane mayhem with their debut single, ‘LIE TO ME’ – click to stream.
‘LIE TO ME’ bursts with visceral energy, driven by Ben D’Costa’s unflinching vocals and thundering drums. Drawing inspiration from IDLES and Amyl and the Sniffers, the track features a chorus packed with shouting gang vocals and a belligerent delivery, all powered by addictive punk guitars that exude ferocious garage punk energy.
DEDPAN shares a bit about their debut release,
“‘LIE TO ME’ began on an acoustic guitar in my bedroom. I was trying to write something a bit heavier after being betrayed by someone I love. Soon enough, Grace, Ed and I jumped into the studio with Mo Mayhem to record what is now our debut single. If you’ve ever been lied to, this song is for you!”
