Track: Felix Hill – Swim Deep

Bolton native Felix Hill has returned with a second single ‘Swim Deep’ recorded at London’s Eastcote Studios and featuring the talents of Dan McDougall on drums and piano.

Written when he was just 18-years old, Hill says of the song:

“This one is an optimistic plea, sung from the perspective of a fragile couple, just to throw all differences aside and truly enjoy life, even if it is only for one night”

A guitar driven indie track dominated by Hill’s vocals that stop you in your track. The verses bubble with a rumbling tension that finally spills over on the choruses with big guitar chords and even bigger drums. Swim Deep is a well crafted, mature piece of songwriting that stands Hell in good stead for an impressive career.
