San Franciscan producer Giraffage, aka Charlie Yin follows his recent track ‘Workout’ with a new track based on his love for Basketball – taking that as his title.
On the topic of “Basketball”, Giraffage explains, “Basketballs and sounds associated with basketball have such a distinct timbre in my mind and so I knew that I needed to make a song using them.” He adds, “It’s a weird time to be releasing music, but hopefully new art can inject just a little bit of much needed positivity into the world right now.”
Made up almost entirely of basket ball samples, Basketball bubbles and fizzles with this hard edged electro stylings taking nothing away from its inherent dance floor feel.
