Track: Groove Armada are back with new album news and a track, ‘Lover 4 Now’

Dance Music Royalty Groove Armada have ended a ten year spell out of the limelight by announcing a new album, the eleven track ‘Edge of the Horizon’, out on October 2nd via BMG. In contrast to the guitars that prevailed in their last long player, the Grammy nominated ‘Black Light’, this time the band have pitched their musical tent somewhere close to Hall & Oates, Prince and Roxy Music.

The duo, Tom Findlay and Andy Cato, have released a sighter of the record in the shape of a new single, ‘Lover 4 Now’, which features the godfather of UK Garage, Todd Edwards, on the vocals.

Described by the band as “Ibiza. Poolside at Pikes, that time of the evening when day becomes night and anything seems possible”, Lover 4 Now has the GA stamp of quality, stuttering synths and minimal pads, but replete with Edwards smooth delivery and an accompaniment that spreads a little bit of joyful funk-dance glitter into your life.
