The dancefloor has long been a place for escape. On her latest single, Korean-Australian producer, artist and DJ nabii transforms it into somewhere even more personal: a space where uncertainty gives way to self-belief. if love is a drug then u are the dancefloor arrives as an exhilarating collision of hyperpop, club music and emotional vulnerability, capturing the dizzying feeling of taking a chance on yourself when the future remains unwritten.

Built around scintillating synths, driving club rhythms and soaring melodic hooks, the new single continues nabii’s distinctive approach to electronic music, where introspective songwriting sits comfortably alongside festival-ready production. Rather than masking anxiety, she channels it into something expansive and liberating, crafting a track that thrives on emotional release without ever losing sight of its dancefloor pulse.

The release follows the momentum generated by earlier single in my room!, which attracted support from Backseat Mafia, triple j, triple j Unearthed, Rolling Stone Australia and Acid Stag, establishing nabii as one of Australia’s most exciting emerging electronic artists. Across both releases, she has demonstrated an instinctive ability to merge hyperpop’s restless experimentation with club music’s communal energy and deeply personal storytelling.

As a producer, vocalist and DJ, nabii continues to develop a sound that feels entirely her own. Her layered productions blur the boundaries between electronic music, pop and emotional confession, creating immersive sonic landscapes where vulnerability becomes a source of strength rather than hesitation.

Having performed at venues including Max Watts, Miscellania and The Howler, alongside festival appearances at Beyond The Valley, Pitch Music & Arts and For The Cause, nabii has steadily built a live reputation capable of translating her emotionally rich productions into moments of collective release.

Recognition has followed. In 2025, she was selected for The Blueprint Project, an initiative championing Australia’s next wave of electronic talent. Alongside her own music, she also founded AngelFM, a platform dedicated to amplifying BI-POC femmes and underrepresented voices across music and culture.
