Track: Learn To Lie – Strong

Midlands based rock quartet Learn To Lie have shared the lyric video for the new track ‘Strong’. The band comprises Courtney Hurcombe (Vocalist), Andy Burns (Guitar), Matt Checkley (Bass), and Matt Jones (Drums). With glowing comparisons to the likes of Paramore, Marmozets and Biffy Clyro, and a growing back catalogue including the recent single Lost BoysSmile, and an acoustic version of Lost Boys, Learn To Lie are set to make 2023 a big year for themselves.

The band remark about the inspiration behind the single:

“‘Strong’ is about walking away from relationships that are no longer healthy, whether it’s family, friends or work. The imagery from the single artwork and lyric video represents the possible causes for breakdown of any relationship, from Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance—known as the 5 stages of grief.”

A rampaging hard rock that hits with its huge wall of sound driven by the raging cacophony from the guitars. The vocals swoop and soar with harsh tongue lashings on the chorus which sees the track explode. The band are a tight unit with everyone playing their part in making superb tracks like this one.
