Track: Opus Kink – Dust

Brighton six-piece Opus Kink have announced their second EP ‘My Eyes, Brother!’, due the 19th of May via Nice Swan Records. This is the follow up to last year’s EP ‘Til The Stream Runs Dry‘. They have shared the first glimpse of the new EP with their new track ‘Dust’.

Detailing their first EP reveal, Opus Kink stated:

“‘Dust’ was written during soundchecks on tour and finished in the studio, recorded live with few overdubs. It’s a nasty little song concocted of several recurring nightmares and a modish death-cult aesthetic, set to an apocalyptic rip-off backing built from Ian Dury, Chas & Dave and a splat of T-Rex”.

An apocalyptic blast of horns, drums and crazed vocals. Its chaotic brilliance lies in the band’s collective talents as they weave a magical tale with synths, brass and percussion. Deranged and unhinged in a way that only Opus Kink can be.
