Brighton indie superstars Opus Kink have shared their first music of 2024, with new track ‘I Wanna Live With You’, via Hideous Mink Records (Alien Chicks, Fake Turins, Black Bordello) and SO Recordings (Enter Shikari, Deadletter, Big Special).

The track arrives alongside news of their biggest headline show to date at London’s iconic Electric Ballroom on 11th December, preceded by a host of festival appearances throughout the UK and Europe in the coming months.

Speaking of the single, frontman Angus Rogers stated:

“We, Opus Kink, step once more into the light with new single ‘I Wanna Live With You’, a slice of gutter-pop romance concerning our desire for everlasting and fatal love. Take deep into your heart its voluptuous bassline, seductive overtones and irresistible beat, become infatuated with the navel-scream of its wild horns, and we could connect like we’ve never done before.”

Late-night cafe music with an 80s flair, dominated by the creepy swaggering attitude that is unique to this band whose songwriting talent oozes from every pore. Led by Roger’s crazed vocals, it’s a bastardization of jazz done wrong but oh so right, but you got to hand it to the band they have crafted their own sound thats so easily identifiable and can come from no other.
