Exclusive: The Red, Pinks and Purples record Don’t Come Home Too Soon live in session for Backseat Mafia

We were delighted to have Glenn Donaldson from The Reds, Pinks and Purples join us for a Backseat Mafia Session with this acoustic performance of Don’t Come Home Too Soon. The San Francisco-based performer gives Don’t Come Home Too Soon a new unique atmosphere when stripped back to just guitar and vocals.

It’s taken from their second LP for Slumberland / Tough Love in Europe, Summer at Land’s End, which is out Feb. 4, 2022. You can pre-order it here. Although the underlying theme of the album is one of conflict, unhappiness even, the music is one of escape, of fading in and out of sight.

Check it out here, and PLEASE subscribe, like, comment and share, so we can continue to bring you the best of upcoming and established talent in session.
