Kikagaku Moyo have today shared the second track from their orthcoming album Masana Temples which is scheduled for release on 5th October on Guruguru Brain.
Drummer Go Kurosawa describes his inspiration for the track “a day trip song. Get up, ride on a horse, take a walk, explore, and go back to your place and sleep. Often within the trip, you will find something that makes you feel nostalgic, somehting that brings back memories of the past and no matter how crazy the journey is, we always come back to where we were or where we belong and feel calm. That was the idea of song when I wrote it.”
‘Dripping Sun’ is a journey through sound, and encapsulates the theme which is prevalent throughout Masana Temples, it will appeal to many with its laid back countenance and blissful harmonies, invoking imagery of lazy summer days.
