American singer-songwriter Joanna Newsom has added a load of new dates to her already much acclaimed tour. In a recent press release, her label, Drag City, proclaimed:

With greater velocity than a meteorite-straddlin’ Kris Kringle, Joanna Newsom keeps dropping gifts on a grateful world-pop! While she’s in the midst of her first USA tour in four years, more Newsom tour dates have blossomed forth from Mother Earth’s nurturing bosom. They land our lady right back where the Divers campaign began – in Europe! It’s all part of the international Divers experience, people.

The aforementioned album, Divers, has received rave reviews from critics, even more so than her last album, Have One On Me. The Backseat Mafia review for Divers can be found here.

In the midst of an American tour, Newsom will return to Europe in February.

Joanna Newsom will play:

24th Feb – Brussels, Belgium @ Palais des Beaux Arts

25th Feb – Hamburg, Germany @ Kampnagel

27th Feb – Groningen, The Netherlands @ De Oosterpoort

28th Feb – Nijmegen, The Netherlands @ Concertgebouw De Vereeniging

1st March – Liverpool, U.K. @ The Philharmonic Hall

2nd March – Glasgow, U.K. @ Royal Concert Hall

3rd March – Dublin, Ireland @ Olympia
