Over 60 of the hottest new music acts will descend on Newcastle’s Coastline, creating a trail of MUST SEE talent spanning Tynemouth to North Shields. Performing at this year’s festival where Sam Tompkins, BERWYN, Lauran Hibberd, Rudie Edwards, Tamzene, Wych Elm, Alex Amor, Bandit, Benjamin Fitzgerald, Candid, Club Paradise, Danko, Dakota Avenue, Dilutey Juice, Ellur, FEVA

The first act to open up the festival was Benjamin Fitzgerald who dazzled the audience with his atmospheric sound and the addition of the beautiful harp sitting over the synths. Second band was Club Paradise who blew me away with their heavy riffs and pounding drums. Third up to perform was Kate Bond, who opened up her set with the James bond theme before going straight into her brand of funky riffs featuring saxophone, drums and guitar. Moving on to catch Faye Fantarrow, who’s beautiful raw and passionate vocals filled the Karma Coast stage. She had the whole room mesmerised as they audience kept silent to listen to her perform. Final act of the day was Kieran Bowe and his band performing at Tynemouth CIU. It’s always great to see Bowe and his band perform, and they always impress with thier catchy guitar riffs and the superb vocals from Bowe.
